Richard "Rick" Dart, 67, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. He was born October 28, 1955, in Green Bay to Merril and Viola (Ponfil) Dart.

Rick graduated from Green Bay West High School, Class of 1973. After graduation he attended Northwestern University on a football scholarship from 1973 to 1975 with a major in civil engineering. On August 16, 1975, Rick married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Julie Becker at Annunciation Church. Rick and Julie were blessed with four children, Lisa, Ryan, Kevin and Jared. Julie preceded him in death on June 26, 2015.

Rick had a passion for coaching. In the 20 plus years he coached, not only did he teach the game but also life lessons that many will hold onto and pass onto future generations. Outside of coaching he was a family man who always put others before himself. Rick enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cabin.

He is survived by his children, Lisa (John) Francken, Ryan (Jen Berres) Dart, Kevin (Hannah Zeratsky-Dart) Dart, Jared Dart; sister-in-law, Cinde Becker; a future granddaughter, Juliette; grand-dogs, other relatives and friends.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14; Service to follow at 7 p.m.  Entombment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
