Randy L. Scheffel, 70, Green Bay, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023. He was born October 8, 1953, in Waukesha to Kurt and Dorothy (Saeger) Scheffel.

Randy graduated from Mukwonago High School, Class of 1972. He went on to St. Norbert College and obtained his bachelor's degree in music. For many years Randy taught band and general music classes in De Pere at Notre Dame Middle School. In 1992 he began Inland Sea Music, his own company for music engravings. Randy and Mary Zelzer were married on June 27, 1980, in Green Bay and together they had three daughters. Randy loved all things musical and was one of the first members of the De Pere City Band, playing trumpet. He not only played for the Brass Factory but was also a choir director, music composer and collector of odd and unique instruments. Randy enjoyed a wide variety of movies and had an extensive DVD and VHS collection.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Aubrey (Beth Barrett) Scheffel, Miranda Scheffel, Marissa Scheffel; siblings, Vicki (Doug Austin) Moss, Rick (JoAnn) Scheffel, Jeff (Marsha) Scheffel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Kurt and Dorothy; brother, Lynn Scheffel; ex brother-in-law, Marshall Moss.
