Randall "Willy" Williquette, 71, Silver Cliff, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born October 1, 1952, in Green Bay to Lawrence and Irene (Deneys) Williquette.
Willy started working at the age of 18 and served with the National Guard. He retired from working at Machine Service. Willy loved being up north and was happy to make it his home after his retirement. He enjoyed canoeing, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Willy was a big kid at heart and had a giving spirit. He loved animals, especially his dogs and taking trips to Baskin Robins with his nieces, nephews, and neighborhood friends. Willy enjoyed playing trivia, westerns, and reading about history.
He is survived by his siblings, Ray Williquette, Jean Rohr, Ilene Rohr, and Mary (Brian) Brooks; brother-in-law, Dick Walenski; nieces and nephews, Ray, Pat, Scott, Barb, Karen, Julie, Kathy, Lori, Jeff, Tammy, Brenda, Joe, Scott, Rob, Julie, Terri, Carrie, Curt, Desiree, Debbie; many great nieces and nephews.
Willy was preceded in death by his children, Jamie and Jason; parents, Lawrence and Irene; siblings, Judy Walenski; Larry (Mary Ann "Snooki") Williquette, Jack Williquette, and Debbie Williquette; in-laws, Louis Rohr, Betty Williquette, Ed Rohr.
Friends and family will gather at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Ninth St., from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 15; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Willy's name.
