Ralph "Duke" Daniel Widi, loving husband, father, and grandpa passed away peacefully Sunday, August 20, 2023. He was born February 23, 1928, in Green Bay to John and Judith (Marielli) Widi.

On July 9, 1949, Duke married Rosemary "Rosie" Wenner in Chicago, IL. She preceded him in death on February 24, 2020. Duke enlisted in the National Guard and was a member of the Elk's Club. He worked as a tile setter and proprietor for John Widi Company and Widi Brothers. Duke had a talent for laying tile and took great pride in his terrazzo work which took him throughout the Midwest court houses and schools. Duke was extremely proud of his Italian heritage. From his heritage he learned to be incredibly welcoming. Duke loved being at the family cottage where he welcomed all of his friends and family. He was an avid Packer Fan and season ticket holder.  Duke had a good sense of humor and was described as the "most congenial man." Duke enjoyed taking car trips and many of them ended at the casino. He always gave the best advice and was an amazing father. He took an active role in his children's lives and spent as much time with them as he could. He loved being a father and excelled at the role.

He is survived by his children, Steve (Kathy) Widi, Daniel Widi, Nancy (Tom Adamany) Widi; grandchildren, Eric (Felicia) Widi, Jason (special friend, Jessica) Widi, Joe (Leigh) Widi, Nick Widi; step-grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Malchow, Jessica Tucker; great-grandchildren; Devon, Dominick, Lexi, Ronald, Dylan, Kendall, Cole, Mason, Morgan, Kaitlyn, Baily, Daija, Kobe; great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Donald Wenner; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
