Phyllis Helen Van Vreede, 87, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 13, 2024. She was born September 17, 1936, in Appleton, WI to the late Godfred and Helen Lamers and was raised on the family farm in Hollandtown.

Phyllis graduated from Kaukauna High School. She was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Wisconsin Women's Bowling Hall of Fame in May 2014. Phyllis ran a junior bowling league and coached many young bowlers over the years.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Joan (Dale) Bley, Gary (Jeanne) Van Vreede, Ken (Cindy) Van Vreede, and Judy (Pat) McKeough; grandchildren, Molly (Joseph) McKenzie, Derek (Leah) Bley, Bryce Van Vreede, Addison Van Vreede, Brett Van Vreede, Kyle Van Vreede, Tara Van Vreede, Kelly (Hunter) Brock, Casey and Shannon McKeough, as well as four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Grace, Charlotte McKenzie, and Flynn Brock. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Lamers.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother, William Lamers and her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Eugene Wall.
