Phyllis Last, 91, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born March 12, 1933, in Green Bay to Russell and Margaret (MacDonald) Kornowske.
Phyllis married Gerald O. Last on November 29, 1952. He preceded her in death on January 28, 1991. For many years Phyllis worked as a poll worker for the Brown County Democratic Party and volunteered at the ADRC. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church. Phyllis enjoyed baking and giving her treats as gifts to special friends and family. Phyllis was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was always her top priority and would help them with whatever they needed.
She is survived by her children, James (Mary) Last, Thomas (Debbie) Last, Peggy (Tom) Kujava, Patricia (Scott) Timm, Pamela Hutchinson, Jerome (Maria) Last, Muria (Kevin) Shafel.; grandchildren, Kelly (Jerome) James, Joe (Bailey) Last, Stephanie (Brian) Hammar, Chris (Gena) Kujava, Krista (Kent) Safranski, John (Saumya) Merholtz, Heather (Mark) Last, Kim (Mike) Mahr, Paul (Annie) Last, Jared (Heather) Last, Sheena Last, Amber Timm, Jordan (Jordan) Ryan, Dylan Shafel, Eva (Will) Newberry, Amelia Last; great-grandchildren; Macy James, Charlie James, Crewe Kujava, Madden Kujava, Cole Last, Olivea Mahr, Dayze Mahr, Violet Mahr, Michael Timm, Morgan Timm, Taylor (Jace) Ribley, Ryan Brown, Aubree Hammar, Dominic Last, William Last, Julian Safranski, Mila Safranski, and Luna Safranski, Grayson Ryan; great-great-grandchild, Emerson Ribley.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; parents, Russell and Margaret; brother, Thomas Kornowske; son-in-law, Scott Hutchinson.
