Petrus J. "Tollie" Potgieter, 66, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. The son of the late Johannes "Lief" and Magrieta "Pearly" (Pike) Potgieter was born on March 26, 1959, in Heidelberg, Gauten, South Africa.

Tollie grew up farming with his family.

Tollie would meet Sharmaine Ramkhelawon and the two would be united in marriage.

Tollie was glad to help his family in any way he could, especially when it came to the grandchildren. He loved to spend time with them and was very proud of them as well as his children.

Tollie is survived by his wife, Sharmaine; children, Lohan (Lizelle) Potgieter, Tollie "Zayed" Potegieter, Neil Potgieter; grandchildren, Leané, Aaron, Braydon, Coner, Mejanke; brother, Jan Potgieter; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
