Peter Francis Selissen, 85, Green Bay, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026. He was born May 25, 1940, in Green Bay to John and Cora (Manders) Selissen.

Peter graduated from Green Bay East High School, Class of 1958. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served from 1958 to 1960. Peter was united in marriage on Oct. 17, 1962, to Mary C. Moore at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He worked for a variety of construction companies and was a longtime foreman.

Peter had the best sense of humor, never failing to make everyone laugh. His positive attitude and outlook on life were admirable, never believing in bad days. Peter enjoyed the time spent with his brother Tom; the two went on many outings together. He liked watching Mass on Sunday's with the Bishop and of course, a good Packer game. He loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews very much.

He is survived by his children, Kathy (Chuck) Hawkins, Jennifer (Bob Drewiske) Selissen, Peter (Holly) Selissen; grandchildren, Seth Hawkins, Brady (Brianna) Hawkins, Jaxsen Selissen, Meadow Selissen; great-grandchildren, Lenora and Finan; siblings, Ann Dobbs, Tom Selissen, Claire (Robert) Tauscher, Joan (Robert) Zittlow; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; son, John; parents and in-laws.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 30; Memorial Service to follow at 4:30 p.m. Entombment will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
