Pearl Edna (Rekitzke) Bartelt, 97, Green Bay, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born January 30, 1926, in New London to William and Edna (Schmidt) Stiles.

Pearl graduated from New London High School, Class of 1944. She married Harold Rekitzke on August 31, 1944 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New London. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2001. Pearl worked at 1 ^st National Bank for 27 years as a loan officer. She married David Bartelt on July 23, 2005. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2013. She was a very active member of Tabor Lutheran Church, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion. Pearl enjoyed collecting recipes, cooking, sewing and cheering on the Packers. She made the best fruit cakes, and she was very proud of her beautiful Christmas cookies.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Wayne) Schick, Mike (Cathy) Rekitzke; grandchildren, Shane (Ann) Schick, Shannon (Nicole) Schick, Alex (Sheila) Schaefer; great-grandchildren, Alexis Schick, Breeleigh Schick, Spencer Schaefer, Isaac Schaefer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Rekitzke, David Bartelt; parents, William and Edna; sister, Ruth; half-sister, Virginia.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11; Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Tabor Lutheran Cemetery, Mountain, WI at a later date.
