Paula Sue Stankevitz, 56, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born May 1, 1969, in Green Bay to L. Harvey and Marie Joyce (Liska) Stankevitz.

Paula earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from UW – Milwaukee. Her thirst for knowledge did not end at graduation and she continued to learn, earning herself multiple diplomas and awards. Paula received a woman leadership award, and she was hardworking and tireless in her career pursuits in becoming a respected manager. Paula was a fair manager and an excellent leader who would not ask anyone to do anything she wouldn't do herself. She spent time working with a team of geneticists, doctors, nurses and other medical leaders who loved her – she was exceptionally proficient in coding and protecting against insurance fraud. In 1994 she started her career with Humana and had the title of Payment Integrity Manager. Paula was truly an integral part of Humana's financial success. She was an inspirational example of a woman in charge. Paula was a voracious reader with a sharp mind, which made her the best trivia partner. She loved to play trivia and have game nights with friends and family. When she wasn't working hard or spending time with her family, she enjoyed football and many true crime podcasts. More than anything else she loved her family. Paula adored her nieces and nephews. She also loved to spoil her dog, Charlie, who was like her child and her forever faithful companion.

She is survived by her siblings, Sue (Gary), Peter (Terry), Mike (Judy), Julie (Jeff); nieces and nephews, Kyle, Sarah, Mike, Eric, Kayla, Kristin, Rebecca, Katy, Cam; grandnieces and grandnephews, Ash, Landen, Ella, Jackson, Joey, Hailie, Robbie, Josie, Romy; beloved dog, Charlie; and countless friends.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, L. Harvey; mother, Marie; stepfather, Bob Buth; grandnephew, Logan Kraszewski; and her beloved dogs Gibson and Berkeley.
