Paul R. Rawnick, 83, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born June 8, 1940, in Stambaugh, MI to Frank J. and Hedwig "Edna" H. (Znoroski) Rawnick.

Paul attended school in Iron River, MI. He earned his degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech. Paul worked for Dean Food for 33 years and was director of engineering at the time of his retirement in 1990. After his retirement he spent half the year at his cabin in the UP. Paul loved hunting, fishing, photographing wildflowers, and playing the accordion. He played the accordion most of his life and was a member of the NEW Accordion Club. Paul was a longtime member of St. Jude Parish starting in 1966. He was active in various church committees and sang with the St. Jude Spirit Singers Choir.

He is survived by his children, Christine (Brian) Fassbender, Thomas Rawnick, Nancy Harsha; grandchildren, Bryce, Alex, Amari, Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Scarlett, Kai; sister-in-law, Eve Rawnick; many nieces, nephews, friends up north, other relatives, and friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edna; siblings, Frank E. Rawnick, Constance "Connie" (Jospeh) Bloom; infant brother, James.

Friends and family will gather at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3; the Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m.. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery Iron River, MI. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
