Patricia "Patt" Anne Waeghe, of Suamico, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, with her loving family at her side. The daughter of Ernestine and Peter LeClaire was born on March 12, 1937, in Gladstone, Michigan. She was raised in Gladstone and graduated from Gladstone High School in 1955. Late in her senior year she met Marvin Waeghe at Stella's Diner, a high school hangout, and quickly fell in love. After high school, Patt moved to Milwaukee, a small-town girl in the big city, where she worked at Square D Company and dated Marvin.

Patt and Marv were married on July 21, 1956, at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone. Together, they began their married life in the Chicago area, later moving to Howard and settling in Suamico.

Patt was the proud mother of six children and cherished her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. While she worked briefly outside the home, she was most proud of being a homemaker for the majority of her adult life. In the 1990's, she opened The Silk Purse, a boutique in Vickery Village specializing in purses, fashion, and accessories. Along with Marv, she also owned and operated ABC Child Development Centers, where she was known by many as "Grandma Patt", retiring in 2000.

Patt also treasured her close-knit group of friends known as the "Flintville Flowers", was a longtime member of the Altar and Rosary Society, the Card Club, and the Birthday Club. She also enjoyed volunteering at church events.

Family was always at the center of Patt's life. She loved preparing large meals whenever the family gathered and was an amazing cook. Patt and Marv also enjoyed spending winters at their Florida home, where they enjoyed fishing and boating together.

Patt is survived by her children: Suzanne (Ken) Kimps, Mary Beth (Bryan) Boettcher, Mark (Lisa) Waeghe, Kristine (Dan) Miller, and Patrick (Kelly) Waeghe; her ten grandchildren: Sarah (Craig) Lasecki, Troy (Jessica) Kimps, Joshua (Holly) Kimps, Brooke (fiancé Ryan Julka) Boettcher, Dr. Brent (Melissa) Boettcher, Dr. Brennan (Kaitlyn) Boettcher, Adam (Amanda) Waeghe, Rhiannah Johnson, Carsen Miller, and Lauren (Aiden) Grelle; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; their son, Michael; her parents, Peter and Ernestine (Mercier) LeClaire; and her siblings Percy, Marcella, Joyce, Dolly, and Elizabeth.

Friends and family will gather at SS. Edward & Isidore Parish, 3667 Flintville Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026 with Mass starting at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the church cemetery in the spring.  The Mass will be live streamed at https://www.facebook.com/ssedwardisidore.org/
