Patricia R. Kreuser, 82, passed from our earthly realm on Tuesday afternoon, February 14, 2023. She was born on December 16, 1940, the youngest child of Carleton and Rowena Werner.

Pat was a lifelong resident of Green Bay, WI, and attended East High School. She married Joseph W. Kreuser in 1960. The couple had four children. They would likely have had more but for their Rh incompatibility. Pat said that the best time in her life was when her children were young, because she was so busy.

When her children got a little older, she worked as a nurse's aide, including at a nursing home where her mother was living at the time. Later, she baked delicious bread at the bakery with Sisters of Our Lady of Charity, when it was located on West Point Road. Her family loved her holiday cooking.

Pat had red hair and lots of freckles. She enjoyed watching Packer games and movies, gardening, and her pet birds and dogs. She had fun playing cards and bingo, and bowling with her friends. Her travel highlights took her to Scotland, Hawaii, and Lake Tahoe. Pat was an optimistic, loving, and hard-working person, hoping things would get better and trying to see the good in people. She was interested in the mysterious, the unknown, and the future, including the afterlife. Now she knows.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Lee) Barrington; sons, Scott (Dawn) Kreuser, David (Jennifer) Kreuser; daughter-in-law, Lynette Kreuser; her brother, Donald (Bev) Werner; nine grandchildren, Brennan Barrington, Aubrey (David) Schultz, Caitlin (Justin) Schmitz, and Ash, Abigail, Elizabeth, Melanie, Teresa, and Samantha Kreuser; and two great-grandsons.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, her son Mark, grandson Joshua, her brothers Carleton, Robert and Richard Werner, and her sisters Marjorie Nichols and Gloria Hannum.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 18; Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
