Patricia "Pat" Kingston, 87, Crivitz, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Pat was born February 6, 1938, the oldest of seven children, to Harold and Mae Girard. She was born and raised in Oconto, WI.

Pat graduated from Oconto High School. Shortly after graduation she met and married her true love Bruce "Buddy" Kingston. They lived in Green Bay for a brief while, where they started their family. Shortly after their third son was born, they moved to Crivitz. Pat worked at the Crivitz Nursing Home as the Head Housekeeper for many years and later worked in Home Health. While cross-stitching, she loved watching animals that came to visit the front porch, especially the birds! She could name a bird, not just by sight, but by the sound of their song. She fought a never-ending battle with the squirrels and an occasional bear.

Pat's sons, nieces, and nephews have fond memories of large family gatherings at Grandma and Grandpa Kingston's "red house with black trim and hitching post in the front yard." There the adults played pinocle and you'd find cousins outside picking rhubarb and playing in the creek down the hill. Pat was a fantastic cook, especially when it came to baking. Her Christmas cookies were amazing, and her apple dumplings were even MORE amazing! If anyone complimented her on her cooking, you could bet she would bring you that dish the next time she saw you.

She was a snowbird for the month of February at her son Tim's home in Florida where she enjoyed sipping her coffee poolside. She looked forward to and cherished her time with Tim and Mark; Mark's mother, Coralene; and fur grandbabies, Jayda and Sadie. Pat looked forward to her oldest son, Bob coming to the Crivitz area to hunt and fish. A couple of years after Buddy's unexpected passing, Pat moved to Green Bay to be closer to family.

She was a very involved grandmother taking her two grandchildren, Kennedy and Cole, apple picking and to the NEW Zoo. Pat would pick up the grandchildren from school and head directly to McDonalds. We are so grateful for her helping out with the grandkids. Grandma never missed a holiday or milestone moment, especially Christmas morning. She loved her Florida and Green Bay fur grandbabies too. You could find their pictures proudly displayed on her fridge, walls, and end tables! She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three sons, Bob, Tim (Mark), Lee (Janice); grandchildren, Kennedy and Cole; sisters, Judy Freward, Delores "Pinky" (Larry) Matzke, Mary McNulty; as well as nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her fur grandbabies, Sadie, Jayda, JJ, and Carl; other relatives and friends.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; infant daughter, Cindy; parents, Harold and Mae; brother, Earl; sisters, Barbara and Betty; Bruce's siblings and their spouses.

Family appreciates and would like to thank the following: The staff at Country Terrace, specifically those who treated her like family. Your devotion to your residents surpassed our expectations.
