Patricia R. Johnson, 59, Green Bay, died peacefully Sunday, July 11, 2010, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born Nov. 16, 1950, in Green Bay to Gerald and Theresa (Wauters) Vervoren. On Jan. 2, 1969, Patricia was united in marriage to Randy Johnson at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. For 26 years, Pat was employed by Krueger International. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her "boys", Snoopy and Tuffy.
Pat is survived by her husband Randy; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tammy Lagers, Tracy and Robert Kievit, all of Green Bay; four grandchildren, Aprilwine (Andrew) Teske, Randy Lagers, Kasey Wilmot, Zachary Beaumia; a great-granddaughter yet to be born; seven brothers and sisters and their spouses, Judy and John Patton, Richard and Cindy Vervoren, Linda and Steve Brenner, Kathy and Dan Delair, Tom and Kathy Vervoren of Florida, Theresa and Al Schimmel, Rosie Vervoren; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joey Vervoren; an infant brother, David Vervoren; and a favorite dog, Mokey.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave., from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
