Patricia Ann "Pat/Patsy" Broekman, 90, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's.

She was born on January 18, 1935, in De Pere to Orville and Irene (Leanna) Gerpin and was a graduate of West High School. Over the years, Patricia held various jobs at the Telephone Company, Larsen Canning Co., and Dean's Ice Cream.

On July 24, 1954, she married Joseph Robert "Josie" Broekman. This Thursday, July 24, 2025, would have marked their 71st wedding anniversary. Though Joseph passed away in 1992, it brings comfort to know they'll be spending it together again, reunited after so many years apart.

Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren more than anything and played a special role in raising Scott Broekman and Kristin Quintanilla during their childhood. She had a deep love for animals. Especially birds and cats and always found joy in their company.

A talented home cook, Pat was known for her delicious holiday meals, especially her famous stuffing. She had a sweet tooth for anything chocolate, lemon, or ice cream, and during the holidays, she could often be found sipping a classic brandy old fashioned, surrounded by the people she loved most.

Pat enjoyed singing, gardening, and spending time with her family. She had a gift for making others smile and laugh and brought warmth and joy to every gathering.

She is survived by her children: Deborah Lynn, Patrick (Pam) Broekman, Michael (Sandy) Broekman, Russell Broekman, and Kim Broekman (Quintanilla); grandchildren: Christopher, Michael, and Jeffrey Lynn, Joe and Steve Broekman, Scott Broekman, and Kristin Quintanilla; great-grandchildren, Charles and Lucas Lynn, Brynn Broekman, Cael and Reid Broekman.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Robert Broekman; her son, Richard "Zeke"; an infant daughter; her brothers, Armand J. Gerpin (Wecker) and Richard Gerpin (Wecker); her parents, Orville and Irene Gerpin; daughter-in-law, Mary Broekman; and in-laws, George and Viola Broekman.

Private family services will be held at Fort Howard Memorial Cemetery. Share a memory or leave an online condolence, please visit www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

Patricia's family wishes to extend a special thanks to Pastor William, the staff of Heartland Hospice, and the staff at Tender Hearts for their care and compassion.
