Orville J. Kuske, 93, Suamico, passed away at home with family by his side on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. He was born May 14, 1930, in Kunesh to Julius and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Coenen) Kuske.
Orville married Virginia Peters on August 18, 1951. She preceded him in death on October 30, 2013. He married Mary Lee Worrel on November 7, 2015, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in LaMoure, ND. Orville loved farming, tractors, and boats. He enjoyed fishing, camping, polka dancing and was an avid Packer Fan. Orville always had a special place in his heart for his cats.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee; children and their spouses, Karen Baenen; Lisa and Curt (Boettcher) Skaleski; Jill Berghuis and Donny Gorges; and Duane and Rose Kuske; seven grandchildren, Doug Browning, Brian Browning, Sarann (Andrew) Struthers, Daniel (Tiffany) Berghuis, Brooke (Ty) Koenigs, Beth (Steven) Nicklaus, Ally (special friend, Noah) Kuske; faithful companion, Copper; step-children, Suzanne Worrel, Lauren (Kim) Worrel, Larry (Cindy) Worrel, Karen (Kevon) Greenmyer, Vernon (Renae) Worrel, Colleen (Marlon) Steinwand, Jeremy Worrel; five great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Orville was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Virginia; sisters, Marion (Norbert) Calewarts, Joyce (Melvin) Leiterman; numerous, stepbrothers, stepsisters, and in-laws.
Friends and family will gather at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 3370 Deerfield Ln., Suamico, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, August 25; Memorial Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be in SS.
