Norman "Norm" Snyder, 76, a lifelong resident of Green Bay, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013. He was born March 2, 1937 in Green Bay to Frank and Marion (Brown) Snyder.

Norm graduated from Green Bay West High School, Class of 1955. He served his country in the U.S. National Guard. Norm was employed by the State of Wisconsin Highway Dept. in the Highway Planning Division for many years. He retired in 1998. Norman had a passion for golf, fishing with his grandkids, bird hunting and he especially enjoyed the time spent with his kids, grandkids and family.

Norm is survived by two daughters, Debra Snyder (Don Hughes), San Antonio, TX; and Karen (Terry) Lehr, Appleton; four grandchildren, Ryan (Sara) Vannes, Kira Vannes, Joshua Lehr, Ashley Lehr; three great-grandchildren, Astyn, Elly, and Sophia; one brother and sister-in-law, Allan (Jean) Snyder; two nieces, Nadine and Rhonda; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his former wife, Donna Dantinne.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday. The Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Diane Rew officiating. A memorial fund has been established to benefit The American Heart Association.
