Norbert J. Loch, 90, Green Bay, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, following a lengthy illness. He was born Oct. 10, 1917, in Denmark, Wis., to Joseph and Mary (Ronk) Loch. Norbert served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was a member of the Suamico VFW Post #9403. For many years Norbert owned and operated Loch's Bar in Green Bay.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Joyce Loch, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Lori, Debra, Cindy, Don, Jr.; his sisters, brothers and their spouses, Florence Persson, Ann Wouters, Lucille Lannoye, LaVerne and Ray Burich, Dorothy Wesoloski, Sr. Mary Barbara Loch, Joseph Loch, all of Green Bay; his sisters-in-law, Exie Loch, Rona Loch; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Don Loch; his wives, Margaret and Jean; his parents; four brothers, Bernard, Harold, Malcolm, Kenneth; two infant brothers, Howard and Sylvester; his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Loch, Jen Loch; his brothers-in-law, James Persson, Floyd Wouters, Melvin Lannoye and Norman Wesoloski.
Friends may call at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave., from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Don Everts officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
