Nancy Marie Ward, 70, Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away August 22, 2026. She was born June 30, 1956 in Green Bay to Samuel F. Ward and Marcella (Van Lanen) Fonder.

Nancy was involved with the Special Olympics, helping with events and setting up. She worked as a housekeeper at local hospitals as well as Ramada for over 30 years. Nancy loved to knit. She liked playing sports growing up, she enjoyed baseball, bowling and golf. In-between working and the Special Olympics, she enjoyed traveling, going all over the United States and to Europe.

She is survived by her siblings, Wayne Ward, Barbara Bilodeau, James (Vicki) Ward, Eugene (Debbie) Fonder, Dianne (Charles) Theisen, Gerald (Jody) Fonder, Dennis (Lillie) Fonder, Kathy Urbanc; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Norbert; sisters, Debbie (Donald) Siebert, Linda Fonder; brother-in-law, John Urbanc; niece, Amilyn Genz.
