Nancy Marie Ward, 70, Green Bay, Wisconsin, passed away August 22, 2026. She was born June 30, 1956, in Green Bay to Samuel Ward and Marcella (Van Lanen) Fonder.

Nancy was an involved volunteer for Special Olympics, helping with competitions and events for many years. Nancy worked as a head housekeeper at local hospitals as well as Ramada Inn for over 30 years. Nancy loved to knit. She also enjoyed playing and watching sports. Throughout her life, Nancy played softball, bowling, and golf. In between working and volunteering, she enjoyed traveling, going all over the United States for bowling tournaments with friends.

She is survived by her siblings, Wayne Ward, Barbara Billodeau, James (Vicki) Ward, Eugene (Debbie) Fonder, Dianne (Charles) Theisen, Gerald (Jody) Fonder, Dennis (Lillie) Fonder, Kathy Urbanc; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her Pa, Norbert Fonder; sisters, Debbie Siebert, and Linda Fonder; brothers-in-law, John Urbanc, and Donald Siebert; niece, Amilyn Genz.
