Nancy Rosenthal, 80, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born January 24, 1944, in Peshtigo to Russell and Lois (Bair) England.
Nancy graduated from Peshtigo High School, Class of 1962. During her time in school, she enjoyed being an active member of the drama club. After graduation she moved to Milwaukee to start working and spent time as a waitress and nurses' aid. Eventually she returned to school and attended UW - Green Bay where she obtained her bachelor's degree in social work. For many years she worked with Outagamie County as a case manager for several group homes. Nancy retired in 2008. In 2013 she married Kenneth Rosenthal and together they enjoyed traveling and attending musicals and plays. Nancy loved to read and to volunteer. She devoted many hours to helping at church and was a deacon for First United Presbyterian. Nancy was an active member of the Antiquarian Society and gardening club. She was happiest spending time with her family and was a strong maternal figure representing love and kindness.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; sons, William (Mike) Staab, Martin Croake, Sean (Amber) Croake; grandchildren, Caitlyn (Kayla), Meagan, Cammryn, Daniel, Devon; great-grandchildren, Denver, Sariyah, Zion; stepchildren, Tara (Stephen) Miller, Kevin (Christy) Rosenthal, Tricia (Matthew) Laffin; step-grandchildren, Alyssa (Adam), Sierra, Abby(Tony), Kendra (Miguel), Brayden, Finly, Zophyah, Connor, Aron; step-great-granddaughter, Neveah; siblings, Charles (Joann) England, Alan England; sisters-in-law, Judy England, Joan England, Karen James; stepsister, Vivian Marabotti; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Linda Schlag; siblings, Glen, Dave, Don, John, Susie, Judy; brother-in-law, Richard Marabotti.
Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 23; Visitation will continue at First United Presbyterian Church, 605 N. Webster Ave., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, January 24; Service to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Luke and Rev. Megan Farwell. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
