Michael David Schreiber

Michael David Schreiber, 70; previously from Green Bay, WI; passed away Monday, October 19, 2026. Michael passed in a tragic motorhome accident in Kansas while Michael and his wife Colleen were on their way back to California. Michael was the son of the late Earl and Josie Schreiber (Wisniewski). Michael was born on April 12, 1956; and was a graduate of Premontre High School; Class of 1974. On August 15, 1998; he married his wife of 28 years, Colleen (O Keef) Schreiber. Michael had an extreme love of cars and attended NWTC Auto Mechanic's. His love for Volvo's moved him out to California in 1979 and he became known as "The Volvo Man." In 2019, Michael and Colleen made the life decision to live the motorhome lifestyle. He always had a deep devotion to the Green Bay Packers and loved to spend his summers in Wisconsin with family and friends. He and Colleen spent winters in California with his daughters and grandchildren whom he loved and adored. He was a loving father and grandfather, and his memory will be cherished by everyone whose life he was a part of. 

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Colleen; daughter Sarah (Michael) Muro-Schreiber and their children Little Mike, Ary, and Easton; daughter Rebekah (Patrick) Vasquez-Schreiber and their children Landon and Hudson. Michael is further survived by brothers Bob Schreiber and Dan (Kathy) Schreiber; many cousins, nephews, and nieces.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marylin "Fritize" (Schreiber) Neitzel; brother-in-law, Harry, and Sue (Seidl) Schreiber. He was further preceded in death by many other beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave, from 10:00AM to 12:00pm (NOON) on Tuesday, November 17, 2026; for a gathering and visitation to celebrate Michael's life.
