Merlin "Jack" John Lardinois, 95, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023. He was born April 8, 1928, in Lena to Arthur and Helena (VerHeyden) Lardinois.

Merlin attended St. John's in Howard and was a longtime member of Nativity of our Lord Parish. He met Lorraine Debot at a school dance, and they were married on April 15, 1950. Merlin worked at Schneider National from 1957 to 1991 when he "retired". He continued working for Schneider as a driver advisor, later he served as a tour guide, and then worked in the mail room.  Merlin loved weddings. He was the life of the party and always very social. He loved spending time with his family and wouldn't miss a family gathering.

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Lorraine; sons, Randy Lardinois, Dan (Lori) Lardinois; daughter, Sandy (Gene) Marcusen; grandchildren, Alexis (Lars) Zimmer, Taylor Lardinois, Tanner Lardinois, Zoe Novoselatz, Abigail Novoselatz, Crystal (Zachary) Crofoot, Kara Marcusen, Rachel (Spencer) Wetten; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Chance, Jackson; sister-in-law, Joann (Doug) Vincent, Leona Platten; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Merlin was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Helena; brothers, Donald Lardinois, Carl Lardinois, Frank Lardinois; sisters, Eunice Roskom, Betty Wietor, Kathryn VandeCorput, Bonnie Wagner.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8; Funeral Service to follow at 6 p.m. with Military Honors to conclude the service.
