It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Mary C. Wauters, a vibrant and joyful spirit.

Mary Wauters, 70, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was born March 25, 1953, in Green Bay to Alfred and Florence G. (Kreuser) Wauters.

Mary found immense fulfillment and happiness in her career in the hospitality industry. She served as an Inn Keeper at the White Lace Inn and Bay Shore Inn in Sturgeon Bay, where she cherished the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life. Through her work, she transformed many connections into lifelong friendships and created beautiful memories.

Mary's simple joys included cooking family recipes, the summer breeze that carried the scent of her lilac bushes throughout the house— an occasional beer (wink), attending Packer games, and that delightful first bite of a Kroll's burger.

In 2022, Mary received a diagnosis of AML cancer, but she faced it quietly with unwavering strength and a constant smile. Her determination never wavered as she continued to pursue her greatest passion - traveling. Mary and her fiancé, Phil, embarked on numerous adventures while bravely confronting her illness. In her memory, she wishes for her friends & family to raise a toast and relish the joyful memories they shared.

Mary is survived by her son, Adam James (Lauren) Sarkis; her fiancé, Phil Schoen at her side; family members, Linda (Gary) Chriske, Sherry (Klarner) Greenwood, John Wauters, Michele Morgan.

Private family services have been held. To view full obituary and send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

She will be laid to rest with her parents Alfred & Florence Wauters at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
