Mary Pat (Holzer) Wach, 64, Suamico, went to meet with her Lord, Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at home with family at her side after a courageous two year battle with cancer.

Her contagious smile and laugh will always be remembered by all who knew her. She was born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1943, the daughter of Olive Rose (Bouchard) Holzer and the late John H. Holzer. She graduated from West High School and attended UW-Green Bay.

Mary Pat was employed by Fort Howard Paper Company.

On June 13, 1964, she married Ronald Wach. She was a full-time mother and enjoyed participating in school activities.

In 1981, she became co-owner/operator of Greenfield's Gift and Card in Great Barrington, Mass., for 10 years. After moving back to Green Bay, she was employed by the Boston Store and Stein Mart until their respective closings. Mary Pat enjoyed being with family, reading, boating, camping and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Ron; three children, Jennifer (Joe Soudant) Otte, Great Barrington, Mass.; Paula (Edmund) Ormsbee, Mill River, Mass.; Gunther Wach, Green Bay, and his special friend, Felisha Romine, Anniston, Ala.; her grandchildren, Brandon (Tiffany) Ormsbee, Charles Ormsbee, John Michael Otte, Georgia Soudant; one great-grandchild, Hayden Ormsbee; her mother, Olive Rose Holzer; four sisters, Olive (Richard) Conley, Watertown, Annette Sule, Joy Holzer, both of Green Bay; Heidi Christle, Bemerton, Wash.; her mother-in-law, Esther Wach; aunts; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John H. Holzer; one brother and sister-in-law, John "Jack" and Judith "Judy" (Liebman) Holzer.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. A parish wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 211 N. Maple Ave., with Msgr. Brian Coleman officiating.
