Marleen Marie (Maufort) Lorberblatt (91) passed away on October 25, 2025 with family by her side. She was born in Green Bay, WI on February 7, 1934 to Elmer and Zita (Dietzler) Maufort.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy (1952) and attended all her reunions and made lifelong friends. Her education brought about her devotion to Mary and praying a daily rosary. She was also a faithful member of St. Agnes Parish. After high school she worked at Libert Machine.
She showed her love with food and celebration. Christmas and holidays were always of gourmet quality and served on a beautifully set table. She was a generous gift giver. Marleen was great at creating memories for her family and extended family. Memories included, walks gathering berries, floating, boating, roadside lunches, travel adventures, tea parties, shopping and cards. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed a good laugh.
She had many hobbies as she loved to play bridge, golf, gamble and bowl. She also was an active volunteer for St. Vincent, her children's schools and Meals on Wheels.
Marleen was a master in conversation. She loved to reminisce, share stories from her childhood to the present time. She loved stories about her travels, Belgian heritage, her friends, family and what she heard from others about their lives.
A big love of Marleen's life was her cottages. She had cottages on Maiden Lake, Lake Tomahawk and Heritage Lake in Egg Harbor. She loved to share this experience with family and friends.
Marleen was a force. She had firm opinions, politics separated us, but love kept us together.
Marleen was a dedicated and loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, aunt, and sister-in-law. Marleen is survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters, Mina Lorberblatt-Teske (Dr. John Teske), their children, Marti Teske (Jenna Mixer) and their children, Mabel and Marin Mixer-Teske; Mackenzie Teske and his son, Aiden Ama; daughter, Clare Lorberblatt-Zipperer and her children, Klayton Zipperer and Kyra Zipperer; and daughter, Trudy Lorberblatt (Liz Kleba).
She is further survived by sister-in-law, Mary Maufort and her children Stephanie Maufort, Maureen (Robb) Mommaerts (their children Allison and Nicholas) and Jim Maufort, Phil Maufort and Ann Ryan, Barb Maufort (her children, John Maufort, Andrew Maufort).
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Marty Lorberblatt; brothers, Rev. Monsignor Richard Maufort, John (Patricia) Maufort, Stephen Maufort; nephew, Thomas Maufort.
Friends and family will gather at St. Agnes Parish, 1484 Ninth St., from 9am to 11am on Friday, October 31; Mass to follow at 11am. Entombment will be at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
