Mark Thomas Maronek, 68, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2025. The son of Thomas and Judy (DeCloux) Maronek was born in Oconto on June 14, 1956.
Mark was a graduate of Ashwaubenon High School, Class of '76. He obtained his degree in machining from NWTI. Mark worked as a machinist for several companies before retiring from Campbell Wrapper in 2022.
Mark was an incredible handyman and was happiest tinkering on various projects. He could fix anything. Mark loved to be outdoors. He relished time spent in a boat fishing on the Menominee River, at High Falls, and on McAllister Pond. He also enjoyed hunting, cross-country skiing, cycling, and tending to his birdfeeders. Mark could often be found cooking out on the grill during the summers.
He is survived by his sons, Matthew Maronek and Nicholas Maronek; his mother, Judy Maronek; brother, Chris (Kathy) Maronek; sister, Vicki (Rob) Bierbach; his beloved grand-cats; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Maronek.
