Margaret L. (Peggy) Heuvelmans, 72, Green Bay, passed away March 5, 2023, from a history of serious medical issues. She was born on September 2, 1950, the eighth and youngest child to Wesley and Hilma (Tillman) Miller. In 1970, she married Gary Heuvelmans, Sr.
After her West De Pere High School graduation in 1968, she worked at Fort Howard Paper Company in the sample room. Peggy worked in traffic departments and ran a chimney cleaning business with her husband. She held assorted customer service and baker positions at the former Hansen's Dairy & Deli on Gray Street in Green Bay before experiencing debilitating health issues.
She is survived by her son, Gary II, three grandchildren, Jazmen, Mykala and Noah; great-grandchild, Sylvia. She is also survived by sisters, Mayme Hendricks, Barbara (Ken) Wellens, Donna (George) Heezen; special friend, Wayne Tappa, and dear nieces and nephews, particularly special nieces, Koreen Kobielak and Lisa Cordry.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Robert Hendricks; sisters, Anita (Delmar Kobielak) (Byron Beams), Sandra (Bill) Engel; brothers, Wesley "Sonny" Miller Jr. and Earl Miller; and former spouse Gary Heuvelmans Sr.
The family expresses its appreciation to the team of Unity Hospice who assisted Peggy these past few weeks.
Blaney Funeral Home at 1521 Shawano Avenue in Green Bay is assisting the family where a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, beginning at 10:30 AM followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM.
