Marcella Jane Hussin, 90, longtime resident of Howard, died Tuesday, October 30, 2012. She was born April 9, 1922, in Howard, to the late Edward D. and Ethel M. (Sauvey) Monette. Marcella graduated from St. John the Baptist Grade School, Howard and Green Bay West High School. On April 7, 1943, she married Vernon J. Hussin in Green Bay. He preceded her in death on May 27, 1986. For many years, Marcella was a member of St. Jude Parish.
Survivors include five children and their spouses, Thomas (Julie) Hussin, Naples, FL; Mary (Kenneth) Peters, Schofield; Robert (Julie) Hussin, Lena; Brent Hussin, Green Bay; Craig (Terry) Hussin, Green Bay; her grandchildren and their spouses, Scott (Tammie) Hussin, Green Bay; David (Debbie) Peters, Wausau; Vicki Jauch, Wausau; Christopher (Jenny) Hussin, Midland, GA; Jessica Decker, Green Bay; Chad Hussin, Shawano; Mitchell Hussin, Green Bay; Eric Hussin, Green Bay; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Viola and Richard Andrews, Suamico; a stepsister-in-law, Gloria Tilly, Green Bay; nieces and nephews.
Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; a daughter-in-law, Carol Hussin; her parents, Edward and Ethel Monette; a sister and brother-in-law, Eunice and Clarence Schlag; a brother, Norbert "Cyril" Monette; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willard and Rose Hussin; a brother-in-law, Robert Hussin; and a stepbrother-in-law, James Tilly.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev.
