Marc McCallum, 63, Little Suamico, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023. He was born March 5, 1960, in Phoenix, AZ.

Marc grew up in Allouez after leaving Phoenix. He was a paperboy for many years, becoming close to many neighbors. Marc graduated from East High School, then continued to Technical College to become a diesel technician. Marc was very passionate about his career, always willing to share his skills with those who wanted to learn.

On August 28, 1982, Marc and Carol Grafen were married at St. Anne's Episcopal, in their 41 years of marriage, they had one son, Matthew. In 2015, Marc retired from Polk Diesel and Machine. In his younger years, Marc enjoyed spending time with Sea Scouts. He loved to be in nature, whether it was trapping, fishing, and hunting. He even whittled his own walking stick.

In his later years, he enjoyed bee keeping. With his friends, they would joke about the nicknames he has gotten over time, such as: Senior Taco, El Conquistador, and Smokey the Trapper. In his final days he was comforted by his two fur companions, Butch and Bindy.

He is survived by Wife, Carol; son, Matt (Erin) McCallum; grandchildren, Avery and Gemma McCallum; siblings, Susan (Jerry), Nancy, Margaret (Robert); and nieces and nephews.

Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Francine and Les; biological father, Glenn Plaumann; brother, Terry; brother-in-law, Pete LaFranco; parents-in-law, Ed and Arlene Grafen.
