Lorraine graduated from St. Ann's Catholic Grade School in 1940 and Menominee High in 1944. She worked five years in Marinette, WI at the Boreal Glove Factory. While on "vacation" with family in 1946 to visit relatives in Green Bay she met a young man who had just returned from military service. His name was John Campbell. On April 30, 1949, Lorraine and John were married at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Menominee, MI.  Lorraine then moved to Green Bay. In 1956, she and John built a house on the southwest side of Green Bay where they would raise their three children and Lorraine would call home for over 65 years until her move to Eden Vista.

After raising her children, Lorraine returned to work at Sears for 16 years. She loved to follow her children and grandchildren with her husband to all their activities. Lorraine loved to dance and she delighted in watching her only granddaughter dance from grade school through college.

She enjoyed family get-togethers and having friends over to her house. She relished traveling with her husband, family, and friends. She traveled to over 40 states. She was a great seamstress, enjoyed embroidery, and word search puzzles. She enjoyed cross country skiing with her husband and children. Lorraine was a wonderful cook and made the best chocolate chip cookies! She belonged to several card clubs - Bridge, Pinochle, Sheepshead, and Cribbage. Later in life she would walk several miles every day.

Lorraine devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
