John "Loretta" Mencheski, 63, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. She was born December 24, 1962, in Sturgeon Bay to Leo M. and Winona (Doxtator) Mencheski.

Loretta worked for Oneida Nation for over 20 years. She married Mark Stanislawski on November 26, 1986. Loretta adored her husband, her children, and her grandson and loved being with her family. She was a fantastic cook and was always happy to cook something. Loretta enjoyed singing and was always an entertainer at heart. For 42 years, Loretta LaMour, captured many local, state, regional, and national titles and awards. Her proudest achievement was earning the title of Miss Wisconsin USofA 1995 and was so happy to represent her state. When she wasn't entertaining, Loretta loved being home with her family and she was always the loudest cheerleader over their achievements.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; children, Maya (Kennedy Skenandore) Stanislawski, Sierra Stanislawski, Tristin Stanislawski; grandson, Zackery Stanislawski; siblings, Mitchell Mencheski, Patrick (Loretta) Mencheski, William (Ann) Mencheski, Gloria Ponce, Nancy Mencheski; siblings-in-law, Sue Mencheski, Sheri Mencheski, Julie (Norbert) Wypishinski; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Nan (Kim) Janousek.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Winona; parents-in-law; brothers, Theodore Mencheski, Edward Mencheski, Leo Mencheski; sister-in-law, Donna Mencheski; brother-in-law, John Stanislawski.
