Loraine "Lori" M. Casper, 69, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. Lori left behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured by all who knew her. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed.
She was born June 7, 1957, in Sheboygan, WI to Jerome and Marie (Nett) Casper and lived a life centered around the people she loved most. Family was always the heart of her world. Lori found her greatest happiness in the simple things. She loved cooking and sharing food with the people she loved. She treasured spending time with family and creating memories together.
Lori spent her life caring for others and chose a profession that allowed her to make a difference every day. Before becoming a registered nurse, she graduated from the UW - Madison School of Nursing and earned an MBA at UW - Oshkosh. For the last 17 years of her career, she worked at Aurora BayCare Health Center, bringing skill, compassion, and true dedication to her patients and coworkers. After a long and successful career, she retired in the summer of 2025, having given so much of herself to others.
Lori also loved shopping, not just as an errand, but as an adventure. Whether she was searching for something she needed, something she wanted, or something no one knew they needed until Lori found it, she loved the experience. It was one of the many things that brought her genuine joy.
Lori will be remembered for her caring heart, her love of family and the many ways she made the lives of those around her better. Her love and the memories she created will remain with her family forever.
She is survived by her mom, Marie; siblings, Mark Casper, William (Robin) Casper, Thomas Casper, Mary (Subra) Nagarajan; nieces and nephews, Sarah Casper, Tamara Casper, Maxwell (Liz Husted) Nagarajan, Eric (Alora Sager) Nagarajan; aunt, Alice Connors; all the family dogs, Dyno, Lula, Poppy, Sunny, Gumby; as well as other relatives, and friends.
