Lloyd James "Jim" "Mac" McAllister, 86, Green Bay, passed on peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, June 1, 2026. He was born February 12, 1940 in Appleton to James and Mildred (Danner) McAllister.

Lloyd grew up in Green Bay before moving with his family to "The Farm" in Mill Center. He was a 1959 graduate of Premontre High School. In 1963, Lloyd began his career working as a Railroad Fireman for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad which was eventually acquired by the Canadian National Railroad. On September 4, 1971, Lloyd was united in marriage to Anna Shikoski at St. John the Baptist Church. After 38 1/2 years of rail service, Lloyd retired in 2002 as a Locomotive Engineer. After his railroad retirement, Lloyd started driving the "Little Blue Truck" for McAllister Landscape Supplies. He enjoyed talking with all of the customers and he enjoyed his many trips to McDonalds for coffee klatches with his old McDonalds buddies. Lloyd also enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, family history, playing on the computer, and watching the Packers and the Brewers. He loved "bumming" around with his children and was a wonderful father and grandfather. He had a good sense of humor, a playful grin, and could never say no to ice cream.
