I, Linda (Stachura) Vaile, 71, found my peace on November 11, 2024 with Kelly, Kerri, and my family by my side.

On August 24, 1953 while my father (Edward Stachura) was helping my godfather put up a silo near Hoffa Park and Marion (Fonder Stachura) was canning sweet pickles, I decided it was the day to come into this world.

I grew up in Howard under the watchful eyes of my 2 older sisters (Darlene Kramer and Nancy Yurk) and 1 younger brother (Alan).

I attended St. John the Baptist School and Bay Port High School. I received a BA from UWGB and a master's degree in fine arts and curriculum from Ball State University.

Everything I learned in my childhood prepared me for my adulthood. I found gardening made me feel grounded. Nature was beautiful to see and experience.

I became a teacher and loved it for 42 years. I taught first grade for 30 and always felt the spirit of a seven-year-old.

Special people in my life were: my daughters, Kerri Vaile, Kelly Lee and husband Jeremy, and Connor Olson. My sisters, Dar Kramer and Nancy Yurk (husband, Donald Yurk) were constantly by my side. My brother Al (wife Kathy) brought me Buckee cookies. My niece, Theresa and nephew, Jeff were supportive. Patrick Vaile helped me when he saw me struggling. Joann Vaile was my spiritual friend. Donna Raye was my longtime friend. I had many more people in my life that I would like to thank for being on this journey. I thank the doctors and staff at Froedtert, GB Oncology, St. Vincent's hospital, St. Paul's Methodist Church, my Packers parking gang, and my wonderful neighbors. I want to thank "Our Father" for blessing me with many joys and precious moments, people that I have loved, and people who loved me.

In lieu of flowers, please generously donate in my name to Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary, 2255 Fox Heights Ln, Green Bay, WI 54304.

Friends and family will gather at St Paul's United Methodist Church, 341 Wilson Ave., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, November 15; Service to follow at 11 a.m. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
