Lawrence "Larry" G. Gerbers, 72, Green Bay, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 with family by his side. He was born June 4, 1953, in De Pere to George and Agnes (Dallas) Gerbers.

Larry loved his work he was a "workaholic" and vegetable farmer all his life. To him it was never just a job, it was a hobby. He loved working and had to always keep busy. He worked for Wery Farms and Sunnyhill Farms. When he wasn't tending to the vegetable farm, he was hand delivering Christmas trees. Larry was happy and jolly year-round and always willing to lend a helping hand. Outside of the garden he enjoyed hunting, ice fishing with George and Hunter, and driving tractors.

He married Yvonne A. Elsner on July 20,1974 in Hofa Park. Larry loved spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and dad jokes were his specialty. He cherished each of his grandchildren and was a proud grandpa. Larry enjoyed family vacations, especially their trips to Florida. He loved all animals and was never without a pet; but his beloved cat, BooBoo held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; children, Bobbie Jo, George (Sandy); grandchildren, Kelsie, Alex, Lexee, Hunter, Tyranie; brother, Kenny (Sharon) Gerbers; brothers-in-law, Dave Steiner, Keith (Karen) Elsner, Marshall (Debbie) Elsner; sister-in-law, Dianne (Brian) Fronek nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, George and Agnes; sister, Joan; in-laws, Harvey and Alice Elsner; sister-in-law, Sharon Johnson.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3pm to 7pm on Tuesday, February 17; Funeral Service to follow at 7pm. Burial will be in Mill Centre Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
