Larry A. Staszak, 68, Suring, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 13, 2023. He was born December 22, 1954 in Green Bay to Francis and Mabel (Charles) Staszak.  There were many ups and downs in Larry's life that he forged through. At a young age, Larry shouldered running the family business, Staszak Auto Body, after the passing of his father. He and his brothers worked at young ages to maintain a high level of quality for anyone that passed through their doors. This concreted his work ethic throughout life.

Although Larry was a humble and private man, he would not hesitate to help anyone that needed help. Larry gratefully shared with the Red Cross with their disaster services and local events. He was the happiest cooking for his friends and family. He enjoyed cooking and baking, even winning a cheesecake championship. Larry was proud of his 42 years of sobriety and all his work in helping others on their sobriety journey. He was an AOA Crisis counselor and volunteered at the Mooring House in the Fox Valley. Larry was a longtime member of the Chute Pond Snowmobile Club and helped groom trails in the winter. In the summer he could be found on Chute Pond Lake cutting weeds and clearing paths. Larry recently adopted Freckles, his best canine companion.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Julie Kreuser; his son, Frank Staszak; two grandchildren, Billy Kreuser, and Megan Kreuser; brothers, Thomas (Barbara), Richard (Sandy), Timothy, James (Connie); nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mabel, a son, Brandon.

Friends and family will gather at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9th St., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, August 4; The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Fr. Patrick C. Beno presiding. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.

Larry's family extends their gratitude to his neighbors, Deb and Keith, and Butch and Kathy for their years of kindness and support.

And as dad always ended every conversation…. I love you.
