Kristin Lyn (Toepel) Reimer, 63, of Cave Creek, Arizona, peacefully joined her father and mother in Heaven on October 12, 2026, with her family by her side.
Born on June 9, 1963, in Kohler, Wisconsin, Kristin was the eldest of two children and graduated from Kohler High School in 1981. She married Mark Reimer in 1985, and together they shared 41 loving years of marriage.
Kristin is survived by her husband, Mark; her sons, Benjamin (Meredith) and Samuel; her sister, Heidi (Greg); her two grandchildren, Cameron Otto and Charlotte Sue; her mother-in-law, Sue; her sisters-in-law, Patti, Liz (Brad), and Katie (Ted); as well as her nieces and nephews; Megan, Garrett, Erica, Joe, Tom, Missy, Nolan, and Regan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Jean and Ottomar Toepel; her father-in-law, Lawrence; and her brother-in-law, Tom.
Kristin and Mark escaped Wisconsin winters when they retired to Phoenix in 2021. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She absolutely loved being a grandma to Cameron and Charlotte. A devoted Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan, she and Mark regularly attended Brewers' spring training games in Phoenix. From 1985 to 2020, she attended Packer games throughout the country, making some of her fondest memories while tailgating with family and friends.
Kristin worked as an Administrative Assistant at Holy Family Elementary School before retiring in 2010. To the children at school, Kristin was much more than that. She offered a mother's care and a grandmother's warmth, sharing hugs and lovingly tending to "boo-boos." She had a way of bringing back their laughter before they skipped off to class. Kristin gave her whole heart to the students and their families and loved the close friendships she gained along the way.
Kristin also loved traveling, especially river cruises in Europe with the Danube River being her favorite. She enjoyed reading-particularly books by her favorite author, Ken Follett-as well as biking, hiking, and relaxing by the pool. Her creativity shone through in the unique, colorful quilts she made, some of which earned awards, as well as her colorful and forever fun style. She was the brightest light in every room she entered.
Visitation will be held at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, Wisconsin on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service, celebrating Kristin's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. To honor Kristin's colorful flair, the family welcomes guests to dress colorfully (yet respectfully) when attending the Visitation and Memorial Service.
