Kenneth "Ken" L. Drevs, 72, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2026. He was born on December 14, 1953 to Lloyd and Bernice (Abel) Drevs.
He was a 1971 graduate from Ashwaubenon High School. After graduation, Ken started his 43-year career at James Rivers, retiring as an electrician from Georgia Pacific. In Ken's quiet retirement, he spent many days golfing. If the golf course didn't have to close for winter Ken would have golfed every day of the year. Ken enjoyed the friendships he made with his golf leagues and could boast 3 hole in ones (but he wouldn't) at the Woods Golf Course.
Ken enjoyed spending quiet afternoons and many trips with his longtime friend, Cindy Wypiszynski-White. He enjoyed puttering in his yard and was never without a to-do list.
Ken enjoyed genealogical research and went to many cemeteries and libraries to piece together his family history. He enjoyed learning about his family's past generations, but what brought him the most happiness was the family that surrounded him. Ken adored his grandchildren and attended as many school and sporting events as he possibly could.
Ken is survived by his children, Christopher Drevs, Charlotte (Jason) Gillis, Amanda (Chris) Liebzeit, Matthew Drevs; his grandchildren, Isabell Liebzeit (Cade Entwisle), Chloe Liebzeit, Vivian Gillis, and Oliver Gillis; friend, Cindy Wypiszynski-White; nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Bernice; and a sister, Kathy Drevs.
Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., 9:30 am to 11 am on Friday, November 6; Funeral Service to follow at 11 am. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com.
