Kathleen "Kathy" K. Ward, 82, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024. She was born February 15, 1942, in Laona to Mabel (Herman) and Norman Sr. "Butch" Beecher.

Kathy graduated from Vocational School in 1961. She married Charles "Bill" Ward on Aug. 28, 1965, at St. Leonard Catholic Church in Laona, WI. Kathy worked at American Foundation Counseling Services and as an administrative assistant for St. Norbert College. Kathy enjoyed cooking, golfing, traveling with Bill and her family and was an avid Packers fan. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime volunteer at the Quad Parishes. She was a social butterfly and loved to spend time with her friends and family. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The time spent at the cottage on Lake Lucerne were some of her most cherished memories and happiest of times.

She is survived by her children, Jill Ward, Tina (Pete) Hansen, David (Judy) Ward, grandchildren, Kati (Nick), Sami, Andy (Anna Grzelak), Jake and Anna; great-granddaughter, Quinn; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Beecher, Audrey Beecher, Darlene Ward; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; granddaughter, Ashley; parents, Mabel and Norman Sr.; siblings, Norman Jr. and Charles; brothers-in-law, Sam, Ron and Galen Ward; sister-in-law, Phyllis Gering.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 23. Visitation will continue at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray St., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, June 24; Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev.
