Karina Sabrina Esperanza Matos, 18, was called to heaven on Friday, July 14, 2023. She was born on February 14, 2005 to Joseph Molitoris and Judith Matos Salinas.

Karina was a graduate of Preble High School. Whether she was hiking at Baird's Creek or swimming at Duck Creek Quarry Park, Karina loved being outdoors. She believed in family first and was a dedicated sister to her siblings as well as a devoted helper to her grandmother, Judith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Karina is survived by her parents, Joe Molitoris and Judith (Daniel) Matos Salinas; grandparents, Judith Robertson, David Ruffin, Janet Guerrero, Juan Guerrero; brothers, Joshua, Angel, Junito; sisters, Lolita, Jazlin, Joleah, Jolicia; fiancé, Jaronn Grullon; uncles, Joshua Robertson, Mitchell Guerrero; aunt, Rachael Robertson; as well as many cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Karina was preceded in death by her infant cousin, Elliana.
