Karen Lorraine Deglow, 77, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. The daughter of the late John Kohls and Lorraine Albertz (nee Kuphal) was born on March 26, 1947, in Kingston, WI.

Karen grew up in Horicon, WI. She was a graduate of Horicon High School, where she lettered in library. She would later go on to further her education by obtaining her associate's degree in accounting from Moraine Park Technical College in Beaver Dam, WI.

On Feb 4, 1967, she married the love of her life, Roger Deglow at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, WI. Together they raised four wonderful children. Almost every weekend the Deglow family would go camping. Karen especially enjoyed campfires, and every year the rubber on her shoes would melt from the time she spent around them. For as much as Karen enjoyed the warmth of the campfire, she equally enjoyed her diet Pepsi, served in a cold mug with plenty of ice. Karen loved her schnauzers, and you could expect there to be a new litter of puppies every summer.

She was an incredibly creative person with a passion for helping others. Karen lovingly made blankets for all her grandchildren when they were born. She also made blankets for newborns and the less fortunate. Karen even made patterned clothing for her children's dolls. She was a master gardener and loved to display her creativity with her elaborate flowers and fairy gardens. In 2012 Karen was honored to welcome guests to visit her gardens as a recipient of the Master Gardeners Walk Award.

Karen bravely fought and survived breast cancer and was a shining example of how to courageously face difficult times to her family.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Roger; daughters, Kristi (Ken) Kronschnabel, Stacey (Patrick) Ehlenfeldt; grandchildren, Madeline (Daniel) Buss, Jackson and Rose Tiedt, Grant Ehlenfeldt, Morgan (Ben) Karno, Ransom Jr. and Gabriel Deglow; brother, John (Sue) Kohls; half-sisters, Shelly (Dennis) Macheel, Joanne (James) Slawson, Janet (Ray) Cruz; half-brother, Richard Kohls; step-sisters, Pam (John) Kollman;  step-brother, Jeffrey Kohls; sisters-in-law, Mary Deglow, Sue Deglow; step-sister-in-law, Carol Albertz; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Roger Jr. and Ransom Deglow; son-in-law, John Tiedt; grandson, Wyatt Deglow; step-brother, Arnold "Butch" Albertz; brothers-in-law, Ralph Jr., Russell, and Roland (Mary) Deglow.
