Julie A. Orla Bukowski, 66, Green Bay, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025. She was born October 19, 1958, in Green Bay to John Paul and Carol (Swette) Mayhugh.

Julie was a fighter since the day she was born. She overcame every obstacle that came her way and did so with a positive spirit and upbeat attitude. Julie may have been small in stature, but she was big in personality and heart. She had a talent for spreading her positivity and her laughter would fill you with joy. Julie cared for people so much that she became a CNA. Julie was a hard worker, personable, and loved to conversate.

She married Frank Orla Bukowski on August 23, 2001. Julie loved spending time with her family and was always looking forward to the next holiday. She loved listening to and telling family stories, especially about her mom and dad. Julie was a talented baker; she made and ate many different types of sweets but was known for her delicious cookies. Julie was patient and kind, always willing to listen. She encouraged her children to pursue their interests and to follow their hearts; she genuinely wanted what was best for her children and grandchildren.

Julie loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, eating chocolates, and having a good conversation. Above all, she enjoyed being a mother and a grandmother. Julie was a woman of strong faith, and she liked to talk about God and the Bible. She spoke with conviction and did not waver in her faith. Julie had a strong will and a giddy spirit that could not be broken.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; sons, Daniel Di Orio, Joseph (Kaycee) Di Orio; grandchildren, Taytum, Maci, Brealee, Joseph "Joey" Jr.; siblings, Bonnie (Jim) Brockman, Peggy (Jim) Baker; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Carol; twin brother, Robert Arthur Mayhugh; sister, Melissa Lou Mayhugh; nephew, Brett Brockman; niece, Molly Holtz-Brockman.
