Julianne "Julie" Mary Duddek, 72, Green Bay, passed away into the awaiting arms of her loving husband on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was born April 10, 1951, in Green Bay to Vernon N. "Pete" and Elaine (Bailey) Behrendt.
On November 2, 1974 she married the love of her life, Roger "Rog" Duddek at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Green Bay. For many years Julie drove bus for Lamers, she loved and took pride in driving "her special people" to their workplaces. After making the hard decision to stop driving bus, Julie continued working with individuals with special needs by working at Innovative Services. She cared for numerous patients at a group home until her retirement. Julie loved being outside, gardening in her yard, putting together puzzles, reading, watching "her" Packers, playing Bingo with her dad and her cousin, Dan. She was happiest when she was spending time with her grandsons. Julie could frequently be found having a long chat with her aunt Georgie; Kay, her cousin's wife who she considered a sister, or her sister-in-law Lynne who she lovingly referred to as Ethel.
She is survived by her son, Jason (Amanda) Duddek; grandsons, Albert and Logan; aunt, Georgie; siblings, Douglas (Barbara) Behrendt, Thomas Behrendt; Roger's siblings, Beverly (Dan) Schwebach, Donald (Pam) Duddek, David (Lynne) Duddek; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; parents, Pete and Elaine; in-laws, Albert and Violet Duddek; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
