Judith "Judy" Peterson, 67, Green Bay, passed away into the arms of the Lord, Tuesday, March 22, 2022. She was born on April 2, 1954, in Green Bay to Harvey and Joyce (Brueckner) Meetz.

Judy attended St. Agnes Grade School, West High School graduating in the Class of '72. She went on to UW-Green Bay, majoring in Human Growth and Development. Judy then began her teaching career which lasted for 44 years at Holy Family. Over the years she went on to receive her master's degree in education. Judy married William Peterson in 1977.

In her younger years, Judy really enjoyed ice skating. When her children were young, they enjoyed weekends up north at the cabin, traveling to Door County for wine sampling, and driving out west with the family to visit her sister in Las Vegas. Judy was always involved in the St. Agnes Choir and the afterschool activities at Holy Family and Syble Hopp.

Survivors include her husband, William; children, Rob (Tara) Peterson, Kayla Peterson; grandchildren, Reegan, Ava, Wesley and Kinsley Peterson; her mother, Joyce Meetz; brothers, Gary Meetz, and Jeff (Mel) Meetz; nephews, Cory Meetz (fiancée, Val), Shawn Meetz, and Cameron January (girlfriend, Morgan).

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Meetz; sister, Lynn Meetz.
