Joyce E. Marchand, 76, Green Bay, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 6, 2019. She was born February 28, 1942 in Green Bay to Ernest and Anna (DeGrand) Rogers. On June 3, 1961, she married James Marchand. He preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 2017.
After Joyce had raised her three sons, she had become a sky box supervisor at the Packer Stadium. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing cards with her friends, and cheering on the Packers and Brewers. She would watch the Wheel of Fortune and Family Feud nightly. Joyce loved her puppy, Tippy, that she adopted from the Humane Society. Mostly, Joyce adored being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Joyce is survived by her three sons, Paul (Nicole) Marchand, Darren (Nancy) Marchand, Jeff Marchand; six grandchildren, James (Sarah) Marchand, William Marchand, Stephanie (Tim) Egan, Austin Marchand, Collin Marchand, Eli Marchand; four great-grandchildren, Serenity, Brookelynn, Kaydyn, and Lucas; three brothers, Darold (Rosie) Rogers, Carl (Linda) Rogers, Ken (Chris) Rogers; two sisters, Elaine (Rich) Zahorik, Janice (Dave) VanHorn; a sister-in-law, Betty Rogers; niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James; a brother, Marvin Rogers; and a sister-in-law, Pam (Darold) DeGrand.
Visitation will be at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit the Wisconsin Humane Society – Green Bay Campus.
