Joyce Ann Harmala, 85, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 16 , 2023. She was born February 27 , 1938, in Ishpeming, MI to Toivo and Dagny (Rautio) Kallio.

Joyce graduated from Ishpeming High School in 1957, and she worked at the Gossard Undergarment Factory in Ishpeming alongside her mom. On December 30 , 1960, she married the love of her life, Ray Harmala. Together in 1969 they moved from Ishpeming, MI to the Green Bay Area before settling into their forever home of Duck Creek. Together, Joyce and Ray worked for Green Bay East High School as Hall Monitors before Joyce began staying at home to care for her children. Later on, she lovingly cared for her granddaughter, Christina.  Joyce loved and adored her family and caring for them. She enjoyed playing cribbage, spending time with her closest friends and neighbors at Blake's Bar, and Rock Garden Supper Club alongside her husband. She loved spending time at her home away from home in Pembine as well as with family in Ishpeming, and she never forgot all of the friendships that were made along the way.

She is survived by her husband, Ray; children, Mike (Terri) Harmala, Lori (Kevin) Kingsfield; grandchildren, Christina Kingsfield, Kelly (Josh) Nickolai, Andrea (Jake) Ludlow; great-grandchildren, Lexi, Carson, Grayson, Maddix, Mayson, Emmi; other relatives and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Donald Harmala.
