Joyce Frances Corriveau, 96, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024. The daughter of the late George and Lillian (Zimmerman) Marthaler was born on January 10, 1928, in Beaver Dam, WI.

She was the baby of her loving family. Joyce enjoyed dancing with her dad, cooking with her mom, and her siblings absolutely adored her with protection and friendship. While living in Beaver Dam, Joyce worked at Monarch Range.

On June 28, 1951, Joyce was united in marriage to Neil Joseph Corriveau. He preceded her in death in 1968. Joyce worked at Nau's Clothing Store in downtown Green Bay before working for Annunciation Catholic Church where she was affectionately known as the 'Lutheran Secretary' and lovingly provided home cooked dinners for the Priests before retiring in her 70s.

Joyce was a devoted member of Resurrection Lutheran church for over 70 years, where she assisted often for the Altar Guild. She also enjoyed hosting bible study, especially if there was a new dessert involved. In her free time, Joyce kept an active social life. Whether she was with her out to lunch bunch, playing bridge, crafting, or arranging flowers, Joyce was always doing something.

Joyce was never one to complain and always remained in good spirits no matter the situation. She made sure to make every one of her grandchildren feel special, important, and supported. Joyce will be fondly remembered for her magical personality and as someone who was loving, funny, and caring to all.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine (Randy) Steeno, Jeanine (Mark) Krueger; grandchildren, Tony (Stacey) Steeno, Anne (Mike) Larson, Katy (Paul) Nichols, Mike (Kyoung Min) Krueger; great-grandchildren, Evan Steeno, Colin Steeno, Nicholas Steeno, Trevor Larson, Brady Larson, Ellie Nichols, Tyler Nichols, Grace Nichols, Ethan Krueger, Alex Krueger; sister-in-law, Lynn Corriveau; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband, Neil; parents, George and Lillian; siblings, Courtland Robert "Red" Marthaler, Artis Jane "Janie" Fischer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of Joyce to Resurrection Lutheran Church and Unity Hospice.
