Joshua John Lake, 46, De Pere, passed away peacefully in his sleep December 22, 2022. He was born May 21, 1976, in Munising, MI to John and Arlene (Rautanen) Lake.

Joshua graduated from Lomira High School, Class of 1995. He was a Journeyman Union Member of Local 1204 for over 20 years. Joshua enjoyed grilling and smoking food and loved to share his food with everyone. Everyone that Joshua met was a friend and he was always the life of the party. He loved fishing, camping up north and hunting with his son. He liked to go boating and working on cars, the faster the better. Joshua liked to go to new places and enjoyed family vacations. He was a hard worker and helpful, always willing to lend a hand to anyone. Joshua had the biggest heart.

He is survived by his wife, Shanon; children, Isabella and Aiden; dad, John Lake; mom, Arlene (Doug) Sertich; girlfriend, Carrie Linssen; siblings, Sean (Meagan) Reardon, Nadine (Mike) Budzis, Stacy (Brian) Berlowski; best friend, Adam (Laura) Vandenbush; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Joshua was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Helvi Lake, Eva and Arne Rautanen.

Friends and family will gather at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 7; Memorial Service to follow at 1 p.m.  Burial will be in Michigan. To send online condolences, please go to www.BlaneyFuneralHome.com .
