Joshua O. Erickson, 15, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born June 23, 2008, in Green Bay to Michael and Laurie (Bostedt) Erickson.

Josh was a student at Preble High School. He enjoyed watching all sports, but loved to focus on his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs. He had a passion for baseball. He knew everything about the sport and loved playing the game. Josh was proud to be involved with the Northeast Wisconsin Black Sheep. It was through the Black Sheep that he participated in baseball leagues and tournaments. When he wasn't playing or watching baseball Josh enjoyed building Legos and playing a wide variety of video games.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Laurie; brother, Jacob; grandparents, Jill Erickson, Nancy and Steve Bostedt; aunt, Christina (and husband Chris); cousins, Logan and Lance; other relatives and many friends.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandpa, Charles Erickson.

The family requests of those attending to wear nothing formal, but rather wear sports attire, baseball would be preferred.

Josh's family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses of St. Vincent Hospital 10th floor for all their care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made, and all monies collected will benefit local childrens' cancer organizations.
